Mandate Life Cycle
Mandate Life Cycle is the sequence of stages of mandates before they can be used for SDD transactions.
From the Procedures menu, open the Mandate Life Cycle tab to display List of Mandate Life Cycles, then click Add.
You can apply the life cycle setup to a single specific ICS or to all of them.
The Mandate must be enabled prior to sending SDD flows.
When a mandate has been created, according to the setup, it needs to be enabled prior to being used and going through its life cycle.
Throughout this cycle, some modifications of the mandate data may trigger the automatic deactivation of this mandate, and make it unavailable until a new activation.
The Mandate status changes from Disabled to Enabled.
The Mandate must be signed by the debtor prior to sending SDD flows.
After the mandate’s creation, according to the setup, it must be sent to the debtor for signature. The signature must be attached to the mandate in order to be ready for activation, if required.
Throughout this cycle, some modifications on the mandate may trigger a new debtor signature request for this mandate, which makes it unavailable until the reception of the signed mandate.
The evolution of the mandate status is: Disabled, Pending for Debtor Signature, Signed by Debtor and Enabled.
